PLEASE NOTE: Our room block at the Westin Convention Center Hotel is sold-out, though there may be single rooms available for non-peak nights. We have arranged for overflow rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown, located at One Bigelow Square, an 8 minute walk from the Westin.
Hotel Information
Conference sessions will be held at the Westin Convention Center, a smoke-free, pet friendly hotel located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh near shopping, restaurants and public transportation. For distinctive local flavor, Pittsburgh's historic Strip District, named for its narrow confines between the Allegheny River and Grant's Hill, is just one mile from the hotel. Great cultural offerings found here include the famous Saturday Farmers Market, plus intriguing ethnic and specialty shopping and tempting local cuisine.
The Westin offers a complimentary shuttle around the downtown area on weekdays between 7:00am-11:00pm, as well as a business center, workout facility with lap pool, a concierge who leads daily riverfront runs from 6:30-7:00am, and a gear lending program (workout gear, including tennis shoes, will be delivered to your room for $5). Other guest room amenities include laptop safes, complementary WiFi and newspaper, and a coffeemaker with Starbucks coffee.
Our primary contracted dates at the Westin are Tuesday May 26-Saturday May 30, 2015 (with Sunday departure). ARSC group rates will be honored 3 days prior (Memorial Day weekend) and 3 days after these dates, subject to availability (if you receive a sold-out message contact the hotel directly for assistance). The deadline to make reservations at the Westin is May 5, 2015, 5:00pm EDT. Reservations made after this date, or after our room block is filled, will be on a space available basis at the prevailing rate.

Room Rate Information:
The ARSC rate is $139 (plus 14% tax) for a standard room with one king or two double beds, single or double occupancy (add $10 for each additional person; complimentary rollaway beds may be requested for king rooms). Check-in is 3:00 p.m. EDT and check-out is noon EDT. Reservations must be cancelled by 6:00 p.m. EDT on the day prior to your scheduled arrival date to avoid loss of first night's room and tax charges.

To reserve by telephone: Call (412) 560-6365 and request the Association for Recorded Sound Collections room block. Reservations must be guaranteed with first night's deposit to a credit card.
To reserve online: Go to the Association for Recorded Sound Collections Westin group reservation page at www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/sound. Adjust dates accordingly and select room preferences.
